Privacy Policy

What we collect

Account details (name, email, password stored securely as a hash), profile details you choose to add (photo, bio, roles, emirate, Instagram handle), Calls you post, requests you send, crew chat messages, photos you upload, credits and reviews, and reports you file.

How we use it

To run Castocall: show Calls and profiles, let brands cast crews, deliver crew chat, issue credits, enforce plan limits, keep the community safe and answer support requests. We do not sell your personal data and we do not show third-party ads.

Who can see what

Your profile, credits and reviews are visible to signed-in members. Calls are visible to signed-in members. Your requests are visible to you and the brand that posted the Call. Crew chat is visible only to that crew. Reports are visible only to the Castocall team.

Where it is stored

Data is stored with our infrastructure provider, Supabase, on servers in the European Union / United Kingdom, protected by access rules so members can only reach what they are allowed to see.

How long we keep it

As long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your profile, requests, messages, photos you uploaded and reviews you received are deleted. Calls you posted are removed. Credits on other people’s profiles for shoots you ran remain as part of their work history without your account details.

Your choices

You can edit your profile at any time, block people, and delete your account in Settings. You can also ask us for a copy of your data or to correct it.

Children

Castocall is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Founding Crew waitlist

If you join the waitlist on this website, we store your name, email, role and optional Instagram handle to contact you about Castocall’s launch and your Founding Crew spot. Email support@castocall.com to be removed.
